Tom Polum (Composer and Co-Book Writer)
Author and composer of Pilgrim Souls, produced in Baltimore and subsequently recorded and released in the United States and Canada by Original Cast Records. He earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin with specializations in classical voice technique, piano and composition. Other writing projects with Mr. Cullen include Finding Frida. As a director and choreographer, New York credits include: The King and I, Funny Girl, Oklahoma, Tommy, Carousel, Phantom (Kopit/Yeston production). Regional productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. He adapted and staged Anything Goes aboard the Royal Viking Sun. As an actor, he made his Broadway debut in Cyrano, The Musical (Four Tony nominations) and subsequently recreated the production for the Carré Theatre in Amsterdam.

Greg Cullen (Lyricist and Co-Book Writer)
Greg was born in the Irish community of north West London. He was appointed writer-in-residence with Theatre Powys in 1983. Among the works created there, Taken Out, which was recorded by the BBC and won a Sony Award. In 1985, he founded the Mid Powys Youth Theatre. Serving as Artistic Director for over twelve years, he wrote and directed multi-award winning productions of Raging Angels, Tarzanne, Whispers in the Woods and Frida and Diego. The company appeared twice at the Royal National Theatre. He was appointed writer-in-residence at the Welsh College of Music and Drama for whom he wrote An Informers Duty. Greg has written extensively for radio and television and won the PICS award for his short film “Birdbrain”. He was Associate Director for Hijinx in Cardiff, for whom he wrote and directed Paul Robeson Knew My Father. In 2002, Greg was appointed Artistic Director of The National Youth Theatre of Wales.

Stuart Marland (Co-Book Writer)
Stuart is the author of the play The Escape of Alexei, based on the murder of Russia’s last tsar, Nicholas II and his family. He spent much of 2002 working with Russian scientists and family members both in the USA and in Russia to research and develop this project. Originally from La Jolla, California, he majored in Theater Arts at UCLA’s School of Theater, Motion Pictures and Television. As an actor, he performed the role of ‘Roger DeBris’ in the national touring company of The Producers. On Broadway, three years as ‘General Lord Glossop’ in Jekyll & Hyde. At Radio City Music Hall, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (under the direction of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, starring Sarah Brightman) Other national tours include Seussical- The Musical (Gen. Genghis Kahn Schmitz), Ragtime, The Who’s Tommy, A Chorus Line, Sophisticated Ladies (with Mercer Ellington and Harold Nicholas) and The King and I with Rudolf Nureyev.
